Thirty years after one of the most infamous murders in Northern Ireland’s criminal history an audio version of Deric Henderson’s best- selling book, Let This Be Our Secret, is to be launched in the United States.
Tantor Media in Connecticut which produces unabridged fiction hired James Furlong, a London based voice over artist to narrate the book. It lasts for 12 hours.
Copies will be available worldwide.
The book was first published in 2011, just months after the jailing of wealthy dentist Colin Howell and his former lover Hazel Stewart for the murders of their respective partners, Lesley Howell and Trevor Buchanan. Their bodies were found in Castlerock in May 1991.
The deaths were staged managed to look as if they had died as a result of a suicide pact, but 18 years later Howell confessed to gassing the couple.
The award winning ITV drama series, The Secret, which was based on Henderson’s book, achieved a global audience.
