McLeans Bookmakers and organisers of the North West 200 motorcycle races have entered into a significant three year sponsorship arrangement.
Agreement was reached after a series of meetings between the company managing director Paul McLean and the clerk of the course Mervyn Whyte.
McLeans will be the headline sponsor for the first race on Saturday, May 23. Extensive company branding will appear along various parts of the famous Portstewart-Coleraine-Portrush course, including advertising at Metropole, the chicane at Juniper Hill and at York Corner.
The bookmaking firm is already associated with a number of leading sporting organisations, including Glentoran FC, Lisburn Cricket Club and the Belfast Giants ice hockey team.
