The book, Reporting the Troubles, compiled by Deric Henderson and Ivan Little, has become a best seller.
Blackstaff, the publishers, are planning to order a second re-print because of the demand throughout the UK and the Republic. At one stage several shops sold out.
The book is a compilation of articles by more than 60 journalists in Belfast, London and Dublin, reflecting on their time when working in Northern Ireland during the worst of the violence.
The book has been critically acclaimed in the local, national and international Press. The foreword was written by US Senator George Mitchell who chaired the negotiations which ended with signing of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.
Henderson and Little have been booked to address the Oxford Literary Conference on the book on March 31, 2019. Two of the contributors, the former BBC journalists Martin Bell and Kate Aide will share the same platform.
