A new edition of Reporting The Troubles is due to be published early next year.
It will be another compilation of articles by 70 journalists from Belfast, London and Dublin who will reflect on their times working in Northern Ireland during the height of the Troubles.
The first edition was published in 2018 and this new book will include articles by the BBC’s Fergal Keane, RTE’s Paul Reynolds, Sky TV’s David Blevins, the Irish Times Freya McClements; Alison Morris of the Belfast Telegraph; the former Guardian deputy editor Paul Johnson and David Young of the Press Association.
The book is being compiled by Deric Henderson and Ivan Little. Patsy Horton, managing editor of Blackstaff Press, the publishers said: “The first edition sold remarkably well and we are anticipating huge interest in the next book.”
